TSA currently lists a temporary exception: hand sanitizer up to 12 oz in carry-on (screened separately). Standard liquids are 3.4 oz — this page tracks the exception while it lasts.

Checked bag limits apply

Allowed within FAA toiletry limits — max 18 oz (500 ml) per container, 68 fl oz (2 L) total.

Liquids, gels and aerosols in carry-on follow the TSA 3-1-1 rule. The final decision always rests with the TSA officer at the checkpoint.
